Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen
One of the many joys of a church plant is the building of new traditions. Among these is our tradition of serving the New Year's Eve Supper to the 80 to 120 men and women who count on the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen for one warm meal a day. We like to make this a special supper for the guests of Bristol Lodge. We also have a great deal of fun, ourselves.
The Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen, operating out of Immanual Methodist Church, in Waltham, is unique in Boston's Metro West area in providing a hot dinner, 365 days a year. Redeemer Community Church will prepare and serve meals to the Lodge on an every-other-month basis. Our 'specialty' is serving on dates the Lodge finds especially difficult to cover. (Upcoming schedule published soon).
As we grow, the Redeemer community would like to add mission projects to its service effort. Please help us by bringing to our attention new opportunities to serve.
